Default Game Review: EA Sports Active (Wii)

EA created a nice fitness game for the wii. routines include walking, jogging, running, squats, lifts, punches, kicks and more. package includes resistance band and leg strap. the leg strap tracks your lower body movement and has a little pocket to hold the nunchuk (when not needed). and of course it utilizes the wii balance board. in the game includes a journal which tracks your progress and rewards you with daily medals. theres also a 30 day challenge to help motivate you to workout on a daily basis. challenges range from low to high impact and the exercises can last about a half hour. aside from the 30 day challenge, EA also included a "workout with a friend"...with the philosophy of having a friend working out with you will motivate you more. and both of you are encouraged to reach a "team goal". (resistance band and leg strap sold seperatly for 2nd player)...wii balance board not compatable for working out with a friend tho.
i gotta tell ya, i had a real good workout last nite
gamespot doesnt have a review yet, but users scored it pretty high with a 8.7
right up there with my score...actually i give it a 9.0. EA did a great job in putting this game together.
