ok... so i revisited the Tiger Woods series from 07 and 08... skipped 09 and jumped back on the boat with 10. i got the one that comes with those new wiimote wiimotion plus things.

i've only played a couple of rounds so far, but i can definitely say that they've improved a lot. if you do the "advanced" swing, it's REAL sensitive errors... but as someone to plays golf, i can say that you can do the same swing as the real game and you get pretty realistic results.

advanced mode isn't THAT realistic, though. there's no way in hell i can consistently nail the ball 290 - 330 yards. the realistic part is in the straightness. my "good" shots (in real life) tend to have a slight draw... and sure enough, i tend to draw the ball a lot in the game. in real life, however, they don't call my shots draws and fades, they're called hooks and slices.

putting is improved. it's pretty much all the same as before, but more consistent. as before, though, it's pretty tough to sink a long putt, but anything within 4 feet or so is pretty easy (unlike real life... i couldn't tell you how many times i've missed a 4 foot putt in real life).

i haven't gotten to the other parts ofthe game like online play, etc. i didn't have much time before the laker game started last night to play more. will report more as i play more. but from what i can see so far, it's the best of the Wii Tiger Woods series so far.
